Immaculate and unmolested low mileage 2003 BMW E46 Convertible with SMG transmission and factory colour-coded hard top. All handbooks and original BMW wallet and all FOUR Keys are present with the vehicle. Full toolkit, warning triangle and all other accessories.

 

Only 3 owners with the latter owning the car since 2005 and only 54K miles. Full history mostly Dick Lovett BMW from whom all 3 owners purchased the car. Everything works and operates as it should and both the soft top and hard-top operation is perfect.

 

The soft top presents as new and with built-in heated rear window (as does of course the hard-top). Truly a car for all seasons and reasons, whether the weekly shop, daily commute or a touring holiday.

 

First registered in Hungerford in February 2003, the first keeper owned the car for nearly 2 years and 23,000 miles before trading it in.

The all important running-in check was carried out at 1250 miles on 28th March 2003 and the first oil and microfilter Service at 9824 miles on 9th December 2003.

 

Prior to the purchase by the second owner, Dick Lovett carried out an Inspection I Service with Microfilter at 23009 miles.

 

The third and still local owner took delivery from Dick Lovett on 7th September 2005 carrying out an oil service on 9th November 2006 at 35114 miles.

 

In 2008 but only 12,000 miles ago all new front brake discs and pads were fitted.

 

An Inspection II Service followed at 47511 miles in February 2011 still in the hands of the BMW main dealer who also carried out a further oil service at 50260 miles (20th May 2014) and Inspection I Service at 52612 miles (30th September 2016). During this period the BMW E46 airbag recall was also carried out.

 

A number of typical repairs have been carried out since 2018 to date including replacement throttle actuator, new battery, replacement starter motor, new rear diff propshaft oil seal, new diff oil, new hood catch, new coil springs, handbrake strip and adjust, brake and clutch fluid mostly at the same time as an Inspection 1 Service at 53707 miles in November 2018.

 

Most recently, in April 2021 a further Inspection II Service and MOT was carried out at 54134 miles along with ABS Control Unit and Wheel Sensor replacements, new rear brake hoses (and brake bleed and fluid change) and replacement Aux and A/C belts and headlamp level sensor. New Spark Plugs and Coil Packs were also fitted. The MOT History reads well, with the few advisories taken care of at the time of reporting. Subsequent to the most recent MOT the subframe has been inspected all OK and a report included.

 

It goes without saying that all services used the correct Castrol Edge/TWS 10W-60 engine oil and genuine BMW parts.
